Cwmaman Club, known locally as Glynhafod Club or the Top Club, is a Club & Institute Union affiliated family orientated club, located in Glanaman Road at the top end of Cwmaman, home of the "Stereophonics".

taken of the group when they were at the club for the Jo Whiley Radio One show on 14/12/07.


The club hosts a wide range of sports activities and family entertainment every week throughout the year, and donates a sizeable amount to a selected charity at frequent intervals and the Saturday Night Crowd at the club has raised over £9,000 for charities over the last four years.through bingo a raffle and a tote. Every few months a charity is nominated, and a cheque presented to the nominated charity, throughout the Cynon Valley.

The cheque for £2,045.59p on the next picture was presented to the Sensory Room Children's Centre at Ysbyty Cwm Cynon towards equipment for the unit.
The cheque was presented to physiotherapist Donna Morris by committee members John Jenkins and Malcolm Williams.


In the lower photo a cheque for the sum of £1000 is being presented to a representative of the Guide Dogs Cymru charity

The clubhouse is comfortably furnished throughout and has excellent facilities.

The Cwmaman OAP association use the club as it's headquarters.

Cwmaman can be found about three miles south of Aberdare in the heart of the South Wales valleys.
